Research Interests
Fish biology and ecology, particularly with reference to the impact of alien fishes and the influence of anthropogenic factors on aquatic ecosystems.

• An assessment of genetic diversity of Pseudobarbus afer and Barbus pallidus in the Sundays River and Swartkops River catchment
• An assessment of the fishery of Lake Gariep
• Develop a management plan for the freshwater fish resources of the Greater Addo Elephant National Park
