African freshwater fishes - Zambezi, Malawi & East Africa.
Taxonomy - mainly Cyprinidae, especially small Barbus species, but also small catfishes & Taxonomy of marine fishes.
Other - Zoogeography; Conservation; Fisheries stock assessment (Lake Malawi); Fisheries management; Environmental impact assessment.
