SAIAB News » 2nd International Conference on Fish Telemetry (ICFT)
On behalf of the Organizing Committee it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 2nd International Conference on Fish Telemetry (ICFT) to be held in Grahamstown, South Africa, from Sunday 14 July 2013 to Friday 19 July 2013.
We hope to attract leading biotelemetry researchers and their students from across the globe to present the findings of their recent investigations on the mysterious underwater lives of fishes in freshwater, estuarine and marine environments. In addition, oral and poster presentations dealing with other topics such as new technologies, analytical methods, physiology, species conservation and management will be welcomed.
The conference will be hosted by the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB) and held on the campus of Rhodes University in Grahamstown, which is a small educational town situated in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. There are many attractions nearby for post conference tours, including a visit to the famous Addo Elephant National Park. I look forward to seeing you in South Africa in July 2013.
